ABOUT PPS

Manufacturing Experience.

Applied Where It Matters.

Prescott Performance Systems was founded by Craig Prescott, a manufacturing and continuous improvement leader with more than 25 years of hands-on operational experience.

PPS brings that experience together with structured analysis, practical coaching and clear accountability to help manufacturers improve performance and sustain progress.

Why PPS Exists

Manufacturers rarely lack information. What they often lack is the time, structure and independent challenge needed to turn that information into clear priorities and sustained action.

Across years of working in live manufacturing environments, the same pattern appeared repeatedly: operational data spread across different systems, recurring losses discussed but not fully resolved, actions losing ownership and leaders personally carrying too much of the follow-through.

PPS was created to close that gap.

By combining practical operational experience with disciplined analysis, coaching and accountability, PPS helps leaders see what matters, focus their teams and maintain momentum.

A Practical Partnership Built on Trust, Challenge and Results

PPS works alongside operational leaders rather than producing recommendations from a distance. Support is shaped around the realities of the operation, focused on agreed outcomes and delivered through honest challenge, clear ownership and regular follow-through.

The Principles Behind PPS

Operational Reality

Recommendations must work in live manufacturing environments, under real operational pressure.

Evidence Before Assumption

Priorities are grounded in performance data, direct observation and verified operational loss.

Straightforward Partnership

Clear communication, honest challenge and practical support without unnecessary complexity.

Ownership and Follow-Through

Improvement requires named owners, clear deadlines and visible confirmation that actions have worked.

Experience Behind the Method

Manufacturing Operations

More than 25 years working across production, operational leadership and performance improvement.

Production and Leadership

Experience leading teams, managing operational priorities and strengthening daily performance control.

Major Projects and Commissioning

Hands-on involvement in equipment installation, commissioning, start-up and the transition into stable production.

Training and Capability

Experience developing people, establishing standard work and building confidence in operational teams.

Continuous Improvement

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt experience covering OEE, waste, downtime, problem-solving and sustainable improvement.

Prescott Performance Systems

Fractional operational excellence support designed to give manufacturers greater visibility, focus and management control.

THE FOUNDER’S JOURNEY

From Factory Floor to Board Room

PPS is built on more than 25 years of lessons learned across frontline work, engineering, production, leadership, training, major investment projects and Continuous Improvement.

Each stage shaped a principle that still influences how PPS approaches operational improvement today.

RESPONSIBILITY

Turn up. Earn trust.

Reliability is where trust begins.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Own the standard.
Strong performance starts with ownership, teamwork and pride in the work.

EVIDENCE

Follow the detail.
The smallest detail can reveal the true cause of the biggest loss.

SYSTEMS

Replace chaos with control.
Good systems make work visible, planned and repeatable.

LEADERSHIP

Understand the person.
People perform better when they feel respected, understood and trusted.

CAPABILITY

Transfer knowledge.
Real capability exists when people can perform confidently and independently.

TRANSFORMATION

Align technology, people and standards.
Change succeeds when equipment, capability and reliable operating standards come together.

PURPOSE

Turn complexity into improvement.
Experience creates its greatest value when it produces clear, measurable improvement.
